For Zoom Pro/Business Users

If you have Zoom Pro or Business, you can easily download transcripts from your cloud recordings:

  1. Navigate to your Zoom recordings

Open zoom.us/recordings in your web browser and sign in to your Zoom account.
  2. Select a cloud recording

Click on any meeting that has been recorded to the cloud. You'll see the recording details page.
  3. Download the transcript

Look for the "Audio Transcript" section and click the "Download" button next to the .vtt file.
  4. Import into Conclave

Open Conclave, click the "Import" button (or press ⌘I), then drag and drop the .vtt file into the import area.

💡 Pro Tip

The .vtt format includes timestamps, which helps Conclave create more accurate entity relationships and context in your knowledge graph.

For Zoom Free Users

If you have a free Zoom account, cloud recording isn't available, but you can still get transcripts:

  1. Record locally during your meeting

Use Zoom's local recording feature (available on free accounts) to save the meeting to your computer.
  2. Upload to Otter.ai

Create a free Otter.ai account and upload your recorded audio file for automatic transcription.
  3. Export as plain text

Once transcribed, export the transcript as a plain text .txt file from Otter.ai.
  4. Import into Conclave

Drop the exported .txt file into Conclave's import area.
